On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India (January 7, 1972 - January 7, 2022), in the afternoon of January 13, - Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City had a visit and worked with Dong Thap University (DThU).
Dr. Luong Thanh Tan - Vice Rector of DThU welcomed and worked with the delegation; together with leaders of Dong Thap Union of Friendship Organizations.
Mr Madan Mohan Sethi - Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City awarded DThU the “India Corner” - with nearly 200 books introducing culture, beliefs, religion, education, and training of the Republic of India.
Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi - Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City is writing the dedication "India Corner" for Dong Thap University.
Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi hopes “India Corner” will be a milestone for the growing cooperation between DThU and the partners of the Republic of India in the coming years. At the same time, he affirmed that the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City will be a bridge to help DThU have the opportunity to sign cooperation agreements with partners in the field of education and training in the Republic of India. Thereby, contributing to improving the quality of human resource training of DThU.
