On the afternoon of March 5, 2025, Dong Thap University welcomed the delegation from the Tokushima Prefectural Office, Japan. The delegation was led by Mr. Atsushi Kinouchi, Strategy Project Chief Officer, Executive Strategies Office of the Governor with the participation of representatives from Think THREE Inc., Cuu Long International Human Resource Development and Service Trading Co., Ltd., and Phat Dat Industrial Park Investment and Development Joint Stock Company.
Representing Dong Thap University at the reception were Mr. Cao Dao Thep, Vice Rector, along with leaders from the International Affairs Office, Academic Affairs Office, the Faculty of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment, and the Faculty of Economics and Law.
During the meeting, the parties discussed potential cooperation in several areas, including:
Establishing connections between Dong Thap University and Tokushima University in education, research, and exchange programs; Promoting paid internship opportunities in Japan for final-year students majoring in Logistics and Agriculture who meet the Japanese language proficiency requirements, with internship durations ranging from 3 to 12 months; Facilitating collaboration between Dong Thap University and Japanese enterprises through the Tokushima Prefectural Office, which will assist in establishing partnerships for human resource development.
