On July 16, Dong Thap University hosted a delegation from Guangxi Normal University, China. The delegation was led by Professor Tran Quoc Bao, Director of the Vietnam Research Institute and Deputy Director of the Institute of History, Culture, and Tourism.
Welcoming the delegation on behalf of Dong Thap University were Ms. Nguyen Anh Thu, Head of the International Affairs Office, and lecturers from the History Department, Faculty of Social Sciences Teacher Education, School of Education.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged information to promote future cooperation. Specifically, they agreed to continue enhancing international cooperation activities, including joint training programs, faculty and student exchanges, and international scientific research collaboration in history, with a particular focus on studying the Chinese community in the southwestern region of Vietnam.
